WATERMARKS

Watermarks is an ongoing body of work largely completed in 2023 that considered themes established in Surface Tension (2023).

Density and experimentation with colour are key concerns in the work as gradients, errors and mapped data continue to establish rhythms and gesture in the work.

Material experiments are also at play with gauge shifts and joint construction explored with resilience and form tested throughout the works.

In this series scale starts to be ambiguous and the possibilities of larger floor works emerge.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work, the land of Kombumerri families of the Yugumbeh Language Region, and I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
